The value of time
The value of time
Introduction: “Time and tide wait for none”- so runs the proverb.
Time is flying. It never stops. It goes on forever. If we waste time, we shall come to grief. Because time once past cannot be called back or regained.
The proper use of time: The secret of success in life lies in the proper use of time. It should put to the best use. It should do the right thing at the right moment. If we never waste time, we shall never be in want of time. Students who make good use of their time in reading and preparing their lessons do better than those who idle away their time. Businessmen use their time in such a manner that they may prosper in business. Success in all spheres of life depends on the proper use of time.
Misuse of time: Those who idle away their time are bound to suffer in life. Idleness is said to be the thief of time. Idle persons always run short of time. We should not also waste the precious moments of life in idle talks, in reading bad books or doing evil things.
Conclusion: “Art is long but time is fleeting.” All great men made proper use of time. If we wish to be great and famous, if we want success in life, we must not waste a single moment of our life uselessly. Time is running fast. We must seize it before it flies away and put it to the best use.
