Travelling is a part of education
Going out to see new places is called travelling. Different people travel for different purposes. People travel for knowledge and experience.




Travelling has many benefits. It is part of our education. Our education cannot be complete without travelling. We read of many places in history. We read about mountains, seas waterfalls etc. in our geography. How interesting it is if we can see them with our own eyes. By travelling in different parts of the world, we see new people and things, we can learn much about their manners and customs. Thus we gain much knowledge and our minds become filled with new ideas. And we can introduce many good things in our own country. Yhe man who is always at home knows nothing of the world outside. His knowledge is limited within the four walls of his own home and his mind becomes narrow.
All great men were travelers. If they had not travelled they would not have left for us their accounts from which we would learn many things. Travelers like Fa-Hien and Huen Tsang visited Indiaand left valuable account for us. Raja Ram Mohan Roy and S. Vivekananda travelled in foreign counties and they made India known to the modern world. Their account of travels opens new horizon in our thought process and out education becomes worthy

THE PRIZ DAY AT OUR SCHOOL Or A MEMORABLE DAY OF MY SCHHOL LIFE Introductions: The prize day is the happiest day to us in the school. It is a very happy occasion. This year the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony of our school was held on the 2 nd March. It was just the beginning of the new school session. Preparation: In the morning of that day, we decorated the school building. The campus was cleaned the day before. A gate was constructed to welcome the visitors. A pandal was built for the ceremony. Guardian and distinguished gentlemen of the town were invited. The Deputy Director of Public Instruction was requested to preside over the function. The Chairman of the Board of Secondary Education kindly consented to be the Chief Guest. The Ceremony: The president and the Chief Guest came in time. The Pandal was packed to capacity. The ceremony began with an opening song. Several poems were recited by boys. After this, the Headmaster read out the Annual Report of the school.

It is not something new. My aim in life is to be a doctor. Reason for my choice: I have my aim in life for more than one reason. More than seventy percent of our people live in villages. Most of them live in poor huts. They are ill-fed and ill-clad. They fall in an easy prey to diseases. Many of them die without any treatment. They have not enough means to go to towns and cities for treatment. I want to be a doctor to service to my country men who live in the villages.
