YOUR AIM IN LIFE Introduction: Every man must have some in life. An aimless man is like a ship without a radar. In the world different men have different aim. Some aim at acquiring knowledge, some desire for and fame. My aim: I am still in my teens. It is rather difficult for me to choose a right aim of life. But still I have chosen a definite aim in life. It is not something new. My aim in life is to be a doctor. Reason for my choice: I have my aim in life for more than one reason. More than seventy percent of our people live in villages. Most of them live in poor huts. They are ill-fed and ill-clad. They fall in an easy prey to diseases. Many of them die without any treatment. They have not enough means to go to towns and cities for treatment. I want to be a doctor to service to my country men who live in the villages. I shall select one of the villages as my place of work. I shall practice there, I shall have the satisfaction of rendering service to sick and disabled. Conclu

THE PRIZ DAY AT OUR SCHOOL Or A MEMORABLE DAY OF MY SCHHOL LIFE Introductions: The prize day is the happiest day to us in the school. It is a very happy occasion. This year the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony of our school was held on the 2 nd March. It was just the beginning of the new school session. Preparation: In the morning of that day, we decorated the school building. The campus was cleaned the day before. A gate was constructed to welcome the visitors. A pandal was built for the ceremony. Guardian and distinguished gentlemen of the town were invited. The Deputy Director of Public Instruction was requested to preside over the function. The Chairman of the Board of Secondary Education kindly consented to be the Chief Guest. The Ceremony: The president and the Chief Guest came in time. The Pandal was packed to capacity. The ceremony began with an opening song. Several poems were recited by boys. After this, the Headmaster read out the Annual Report of the school.

Discipline is of great value in every walk of life – it is necessary everywhere. The home is not a Home where there is no discipline.
