Value Of discipline
Discipline is the habit of acting according to some rules. It is obedience to the order of proper authority.




Discipline is of great value in every walk of life – it is necessary everywhere. The home is not a Home where there is no discipline. There cannot be any peace or happiness in the family if there be no discipline at home. Here children must obey their parents, servants their masters and juniors their seniors. Otherwise there is disorder and chaos in the family. So we must learn the lesson of discipline at home. Discipline should be enforced and maintained.
 At school discipline is of very great importance. Student must obey the rules of the schools or the colleges. They must obey their teachers. Without such obedience, there can be no education. So there too discipline should be strictly maintained.
In the play ground also discipline is necessary. No game can be played if the rules of the game are followed. We must maintain perfect order in the field.
It is equally true for society as well as of the state in which we live. Members of the society must follow the rules for5 their own goods. if every member of the society has his own way the society cannot prosper. So also the laws and rules made by government of a state must be obeyed by its citizens. It is discipline which holds together so vast an organization as the government. Otherwise there is confusion and disorder in the state and the enemy might conquer the country.
Nowhere is discipline as necessary as in the army. An army without discipline is not an army, but a disorderly crowd, for it is discipline that makes a soldier ready to die at the order of the commander.

Thus we see how valuable discipline is in life. It is the root of all other virtues that can adorn human life.

Some aim at acquiring knowledge, some desire for and fame. My aim: I am still in my teens. It is rather difficult for me to choose a right aim of life. But still I have chosen a definite aim in life. It is not something new. My aim in life is to be a doctor. Reason for my choice: I have my aim in life for more than one reason. More than seventy percent of our people live in villages. THE PRIZ DAY AT OUR SCHOOL Or A MEMORABLE DAY OF MY SCHHOL LIFE Introductions: The prize day is the happiest day to us in the school. It is a very happy occasion. This year the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony of our school was held on the 2 nd March. It was just the beginning of the new school session. Preparation: In the morning of that day, we decorated the school building. The campus was cleaned the day before. A gate was constructed to welcome the visitors. A pandal was built for the ceremony. Guardian and distinguished gentlemen of the town were invited. The Deputy Director of Public Instruction was requested to preside over the function. The Chairman of the Board of Secondary Education kindly consented to be the Chief Guest. The Ceremony: The president and the Chief Guest came in time. The Pandal was packed to capacity. The ceremony began with an opening song. Several poems were recited by boys. After this, the Headmaster read out the Annual Report of the school.
